What is Naturopathy?

Naturopathy is the art and science of discovering the root of illness and supporting the body's own natural healing processes to achieve optimal health. Its primary tools include lifestyle changes, herbs and dietary supplements, emotional processing, and other non-invasive therapies like breathing exercises. Central to this philosophy is the holistic approach to becoming - and staying - well. Rather than focusing on alleviating disease, naturopathy seeks to understand the overall pattern being expressed by Body, Mind and Spirit and create a plan to address the underlying conditions that give rise to illness in the first place. The end result is an experience of thriving and loving life as opposed to merely being symptom-free.
